Installation Instructions for Glossary

1. Backup your PDA data. Remember that it is a good idea to always back up your PDA before installing any new application.
   
   
2. Download the AIDSinfo Glossary PDA application from the AIDSinfo Glossary PDA page.
   
   
3. The download file is a compressed "zipped" file (PDAGlossary.zip) that contains the main application (HIV Glossary.prc), and a data file (gloss_definitions_db.pdb). Uncompress the files using a program such as Winzip™ and save the files to your computer.
   
   
4. Using your computer, open your PDA-Computer synchronization tool, such as Palm Quick Install.
   
   
5. Select the HIV Glossary.prc and gloss_definitions_db.pdb files to HotSync to your Palm PDA.
   
   
6. HotSync your Palm PDA with your computer. Depending on the speed of your computer, this may take several minutes to complete. You have successfully installed the tool.
