Polyvalent VaccineAudio (En español)

Also known as: Multivalent Vaccine

A vaccine that immunizes against more than one antigen. An example of a polyvalent vaccine is the MMR vaccine, which immunizes against three viruses—the viruses that cause measles, mumps, and rubella.
