National Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day was founded to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS-related stigma in Asian and Pacific Islander communities. The observance is an opportunity to help prevent HIV, encourage individuals to get tested for HIV, and help those who are living with HIV.
